Pendry Hotel Reflection of Light

This photo located at the Pendry Hotel in West Hollywood is an example of the reflection of light using mirrors and LEDs. The object has a 3D hexagonal perimeter with multiple triangular-shaped mirrors on the inside. These mirrors have LED light strips surrounding the outer edge of the triangles. The light from the LEDs appears an infinite number of times in multiple different dimensions due to separate mirrors being placed across from one another,  at slight angles,  and directly across. A beam of light is reflected off the mirrors and multiplied an indefinite amount of times while continuing to constantly shrink. This is a prominent example of the reflection of light. The reflection of light refers to the redirection of light rays when they approach flat and shiny surfaces such as mirrors. Although the number of lights inside the hexagon seems to be infinite it is not. This is because after the light is reflected 50 times less than 7% of its reflection remains. So,  the light eventually fades away due to the loss of reflection within each bounce off of the mirror. The multiple reflections can be shown until the intensity of the light becomes so low to the point where you are unable to see it.
