School: mamaroneck high school One Vanderbilt skyscraper in New York City is made out of glass panels, creating this beautiful scene of reflections. According to the law of reflection, rays of light hit the mirrors and bounce off at the same angle they arrived at in a process called specular reflection. The reflected light then travels to our eyes, allowing us to see the reflected image. The floor, walls, and ceiling of the building produce clear mirror images of the visitors in various directions.
