School: trinity school Although designed for thrill seekers, this waterslide's drop also provides physics buffs with a great demonstration of projectile motion. In my photo, the paths of both the person and the water follow an imperfect parabola as a result of their collisions while in the slide. As you can see, not all of the water exits at exactly the same speed; leaving some droplets to trail behind while others shoot out in front of the child, forming different sized parabolas.
