School: tsinghua international school daoxiang lake Rainbow under Huangguoshu Waterfall in Guizhou, China The waterfall falls due to its own gravity, splashing small water droplets in the air. Sunlight hits the water droplets from behind me, refracts, reflects, refracts again, and finally disperses into the seven visible colors of the spectrum. Along the same route, the light converges to the human eye, allowing me to see it. Red light is at the top of the rainbow and has the longest wavelength and largest refraction angle. When I stand high up, most of the light hits the ground, so I can only see part of the rainbow.
